Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Hall of Vibe

New to Hall of Vibe or thinking about submitting your first app? These are the questions creators ask most β€” about vibe coding, submissions, voting, ownership, and getting discovered.

What is Hall of Vibe?

Hall of Vibe is a community showcase for apps, tools, and websites built through vibe coding β€” making software with AI. Creators submit what they've built, the community discovers and upvotes it, and the best work climbs our leaderboards. Think of it as a gallery and launchpad for AI-built projects.

What is vibe coding?

Vibe coding is building software by describing what you want to an AI tool and iterating on its output, instead of hand-writing every line. You steer with prompts, taste, and judgment while the AI handles much of the implementation. Hall of Vibe celebrates apps made this way β€” from weekend experiments to polished products.

How do I submit an app?

Go to the Submit page, sign in with GitHub, and add your app's name, tagline, description, a live link, and an icon. You can also include your GitHub repo and the AI tools you vibe coded with. Once you submit, your app enters our review queue.

How long does review take?

Most submissions are reviewed within 24-48 hours. We check every app manually to keep quality high and the feed free of spam. Your app goes live the moment it's approved.

Is Hall of Vibe free?

Yes. Submitting, showcasing, and discovering apps is 100% free for every creator. There's no fee to appear in the feed, get featured, or climb the leaderboards.

Do I need to sign in?

You can browse apps, creators, and leaderboards without an account. You only need to sign in with GitHub to submit an app, like, or upvote β€” signing in ties those actions to a verified identity.

How do likes and upvotes work, and how do you prevent cheating?

Every like and upvote requires a GitHub sign-in, and each account can vote once per app. Because votes are gated to real GitHub accounts, throwaway logins and bots can't stuff the ballot β€” it's one account, one vote. This keeps rankings honest and reflects genuine community interest. Vote-buying or any artificial inflation of engagement gets content removed and accounts suspended.

Can I edit or delete my app after submitting?

Yes. From your creator dashboard you can update your app's details, links, and screenshots at any time, or remove it entirely. Significant edits may pass through a quick re-review to keep listings accurate.

Who owns the content I post?

You do. You keep full ownership of your apps, code, and any media you submit. By posting, you grant Hall of Vibe a limited license to display and promote your listing across the site β€” but the work always remains yours.

How do apps get discovered, and does it help SEO?

Approved apps appear in the main feed, category pages, and leaderboards, and can be featured or trend as they gain votes. Each listing gets its own clean, crawlable page with structured data, so it's indexable by search engines and citable by AI answer engines β€” giving your project reach well beyond our community.

How do I become a top creator?

Top creators earn their spot through consistent, high-quality submissions that the community upvotes. Ship apps people genuinely enjoy, write clear descriptions and vibe stories, and stay active. As your apps collect likes, views, and upvotes, your creator score rises up the leaderboard.
